GTA V Receives Security Update to Remove Dangerous Exploit

Grand Theft Auto (GTA) V players were recently alarmed by reports of a dangerous vulnerability in the network module of the fifth Grand Theft Auto.

The exploit could have allowed malicious actors to remotely modify statistics on GTAO accounts, resulting in blocked, damaged, or deleted accounts without the rightful owner doing anything bad. Thankfully, Rockstar Games, the developers of GTA, have released Patch 1.66 to address the exploit and restore security.

The patch weighs in at 350 MB and is available for download immediately. It is designed to remove the dangerous exploit and restore the security of GTA V. Other reports have suggested that the exploit also had the potential to open a gateway to make changes to the user's computer, but it seems that Patch 1.66 has eliminated that threat.

Additionally, the security update also includes a number of other fixes and improvements, such as bug fixes and optimization. Players can also expect some minor tweaks to the UI and a few other small changes.

Overall, the recent security update for GTA V is a welcome addition for players of the popular game. It ensures that their accounts remain safe from malicious actors and provides some bug fixes and other small changes to improve their experience. If you're a GTA V player, make sure to download the patch and stay safe.
